A DECADE OF SUPPORT
Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fredericksburg dedicated to supporting the men and women who serve our communities and our nation. Founded nearly a decade ago, the organization was created with a simple but powerful mission: to honor the sacrifices of our fallen heroes while providing meaningful support to veterans, first responders, and their families.
What began as a local effort to support the Wreaths Across America program, ensuring fallen service members are remembered through wreath-laying ceremonies, quickly grew into a broader mission of community service and outreach. Today, Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes organizes numerous initiatives that bring the community together while raising funds and awareness for those who have sacrificed for our country and communities.
Through signature events such as the Fallen Heroes 5 Miler, the Annual BBQ Cookoff at the Beach, and local Wreaths Across America ceremonies, the organization raises funds that directly support veterans, first responders, and their families in the Fredericksburg region and surrounding counties.
Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes also invests in the future by offering scholarships to children of military members and first responders, helping honor the legacy of service while supporting the next generation.
Driven by volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes continues to expand its impact—creating opportunities for remembrance, support, and community connection. The organization stands as a reminder that the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes will never be forgotten, and that together, a community can make a lasting difference.
