FALLEN HEROES 5 MILER
The Fallen Heroes 5 Miler will take place at James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. The race will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m., so participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, check-in, and race-day preparation. Registration is through Runsignup.
James Monroe High School serves as the start and finish location, providing runners with a convenient central location for this annual July 4th event.

Lucky Road Run Shop Fredericksburg is a locally focused running store that supports runners of all experience levels with footwear, gear, and a strong commitment to the area’s running community.
For the past six years, Lucky Road Run Shop has been an essential community partner of the Fallen Heroes 5 Miler, helping support the event and the runners who participate each July 4th. The shop also serves as the official packet pickup location for the Fallen Heroes 5 Miler, giving participants a convenient place to pick up their race materials before race day. Their continued partnership has played an important role in helping the event grow while strengthening the connection between local runners and the Fredericksburg community.
LUCKY ROAD RUN SHOP
The Fredericksburg Area Running Club (FARC) has a strong presence in the Fredericksburg running community, promoting fitness, local races, and opportunities for runners of all experience levels to get involved.
The Fallen Heroes 5 Miler is proud to be part of FARC’s Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series as the 7th race in the series. Through the Grand Prix Series and its continued support of area races, FARC helps increase community awareness, encourages participation in local events, and brings runners together throughout the Fredericksburg region. Their involvement helps strengthen the local running community while supporting events that make a positive impact throughout the area.
